Robin’s Nest

Christian Program

Welcome to Robin's Nest a family childcare home.  I am of the Christian faith,  We have a  Christian atmosphere with teachable moments.   All children are welcome here.  This is what we do:

The Christian program is designed so they will know that God made them special and that He loves them very much.

Story time:

During story time we have the theme of the day story and a bible story from the Beginner Bible Timeless Children’s Stories, these are 95 short bible stories from the New and Old testament with wonderful colorful illustrations and short paragraph on each page. After the story I explain to them what it means applied to their lives today.

 Music Time:

Most mornings after breakfast we have music time the children may choose the Veggie Tales Sing -Along for Toddlers a mixture of children most favorites songs  some of them being Christian songs:  This is the Day, He's Got the Whole World in His Hands, Love your neighbor, This little light of mine. I've Got Peace Like A River, Thankfulness Song, God is so Good.  They choose from a variety of  instruments and ribbons to sing and move with. We also have many other favorites for example Wheel's on the bus.

 Christian Curriculum

 Little Disciples It is designed for children ages 18 - 36 months and has a Christian foundation. It’s easy with no cutting necessary. There is an activity for each day of the week. Each letter will coordinate with a Bible story or character.

Example J is for, Jacobs coat. I would read them a story about Jacobs coat Each day we have a coloring page encourage coloring, painting and using markers. The learning program isn’t just limited to bible stories to see more go to learning program themes of the year.

Veggie Tales:

While I am putting putting together lunch children and feeding infants children get to take turns picking out the one Veggie Tales of the Day DVD.  Veggie Tales about 30 minutes  Veggie tales is a tape about vegetables with stories from the Old and New Testament.  These are entertaining funny tapes with cute upbeat music.  Sometimes they like to  dance to the music.

Meal time:

We say grace: before breakfast and lunch.

Assorted Blessings

Thank You God for Bread,
Thank You God for Butter,
But Mostly God,
Thank You For Each Other Amen

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nap time:
It is my desire that you will find these values suitable and wonderful for your child; however, if you are offended by these  Christian values we can agree that  Robin’s Nest is not the best family childcare home for your child and family.
