About Robin,

Hi my name is Robin Davis; I have been in business since August 1985. I am of the Christian faith I believe that God has given everyone gifts to do His will. One of my gifts is to care for children. I have been happily married to Jeff since 1977, we have to adult daughters April who is married to Ben and Crystal who has a home with Anthony, they have a baby together my grandson Joshua. Joshua is in my childcare. I started childcare when April and Crystal were two and three years old. It is my hope to have Robin’s Nest until retirement.

My interest is being healthy. I lead a Women’s Bible study First Place 4 Health at my church. My hobby is quilting; I make every napping child here a quilt. My mission statement is: Encouraging children to be their best. I feel their best consists of loving, safe home. Healthy foods and exercise; walks and lots of time outside in our safe fenced in play yard. I add interest to their day with themes and activities about the world around them. I feel that is it very important they know that Jesus loves them and cares about the world they live in. If I have a child whose interest are trains then I am sure to have lots of trains here for them. If they like to quilt I open up my sewing room for them to learn with my instruction. Children need to play and create. This family home childcare Robin’s Nest is a home with a learning environment. I am certified in First Aid and CPR, I have 25 years of experience and I am still learning about child development by books and courses online.
