Welcome to our newest infant Andrew! He likes his new friends at Robin's Nest
Here he is on one of his visits before his first day.

If it is too cold to go outside have a snow cone. In food processor empty a tray of ice, crush it until it looks like snow. Remove blade have the children use spoons to take out the snow like ice into their clear cup. Have them pour their favorite juice over the crushed ice.. They loved making this morning snack as much as they did to drink it.

Here is Dylan's first birthday He is coloring a birthday picture. Hint if you don't want your infant to eat crayons put a pacifier in their mouth.

After reading an alphabet story and picking out every thing orange on each page we then painted an orange picture.

Children have fun learning and playing while they develop their small muscle motor skills

Helping out making our afternoon snack

Making puppets

Afternoon snack time in the summer. After snack they are ready to play until mom or dad pick them up.
Birthday's are a very special because you child is special. I provide a special birthday snack, a present, we sing happy birthday. I also have a coloring birthday page and we have a birthday story. Friends are encouraged to make or bring a card for their birthday friend.
Older napping children nap on comfortable 2" mats with a fleece sheet and pillow that I provide. They sleep in the same room with plenty of space. Infants and young toddlers sleep each in separate rooms with pack-n-plays that the parents provide. Here is a picture of our older kids at nap time. They each have a book that they choose from. I rotate books each month with our themes. Each child naps with a quilt made with love by me.
